Skype Me?

I have Skype install in almost every PCs and Macs that I have ever owned. In fact I don't remember when I started intalling it.

In the beginning, I used it as a means to call home to ask what's cooking. Later on I found people who started to add me to their contact list. In fact most of the name I have in my contact lists are those who added me into theirs. Sometimes I did chat with them textually. I have never actually had a voice conversation with them.

I had a guy who asked me about Terengganu and the best time to visit. I also had a guy who asked if I'm interested to distribute his product. There's also a gal having small talk. Then there was this guy who added everyone into a chatroom.

So, Skype Me? Notttttt!

Parallels Rocks

A historical day for my MacBook Pro. Today she is running WinXP Pro on Parallel Desktop. At the same time, AutoCad 2004 and Terramodel 10.31 is running on WinXP Pro doing 3D. Firefox and Mail is running on MacOS X 10.4.7 at that very same moment. It's all system go.

Unfortunately, I did encounter freezed VM a few times and worse, it brought MacOS down with it. I believe that is caused by the USB connection.

Outdone, outplay, outwit, out-everything

Woohoooo...
Siti has done it with class. Almost all the major newspapers carries her story on the front page bigger, more colourful and definitely more chearful than Mawi's sad story. At least at this time of mourning for the tsunami victims in Java Island, Lebenese and Israelites killed in bombings, bombings and civil war in Baghdad and various other disasters, we have Siti's wedding to look forward to.

As for Mawi, go get a life and a girl. Perhaps a Datin? That would put you back on the front page. It would be bigger than Siti's story if that Datin's husband is chasing you in a shopping complex with a gun. Ha ha ......

Seriously, now that Mawi's ex-fiancee has already a front page exposure on major newspapers, perhaps she will feature on the next Yusof Haslam's romantic movie aptly titled 'Akademi Cinta' or 'Cinta Tanah Felda'. I'm sure it will be a hit in all Felda's around the country. Unfortunately it will all be on pirated VCDs. I'm very sure of that. I spend 6 years of my life in a Felda. I know how it goes there.

Mawi beats Siti Nurhaliza

Today is a historical day for Mawi. He managed to beat Siti Nurhaliza in term of front page coverage in major newspapers. Almost all newspapers carried his story and most on the front page. Bigger fonts and bigger photos of him and his fiancee (former?) compared to Siti & Datuk K photos.

Congratulation Mawi. Perhaps he could have made it bigger if he just sent an SMS. People has been using SMS for divorces, why not use it to end the engagement. That would put his face right up every newspaper in the Malay speaking world.

At the same time, I think this is just a conspiracy to divert the nation attention from Siti's wedding. Yup! That is it. Or perhaps a better one is to divert the attention of the nation from the PM vs ex-PM crisis. And the sugar crisis, and the fuel price, and how huge is Petronas, TNB, TM and Maybank's profits.

Siti, now is a good time to announce your wedding plan. Now is the time for you to beat Mawi to the front page. Give us good news. We are bored with all this negativities.
