Carbon Copy

Remember those forms that you can write and produce instant duplicate? Those blue-ish duplicates. Those Carbonless Copy Paper. Read more about it here.

Anyway, my 'not so bright' client has asked the engineering department to do all their RFI forms using those CCP. Why? Because they are too lazy to sign all the copies of the forms. YES. LAZY!

Not just that. They are also too lazy to sign the transmittal form in triplicate even though that would only be coming to them about thrice a month. How much more lazy can you get?

You know what? Next they will ask for all drawings to be printed on those CCP so that they can be even more lazy.

This sounds awfully “The Dilbert Principle” like scenario. The theme: clients’ failure to execute productivity by compensating their incompetent as viable approach to the engineering susceptibility of hilarity—at the expense of the clients own stupidity of course.
